Have you considered using Tumblr? It seems like a blog/twitter hybrid. I really like the re-blog feature. If only I had friends on there, then I could re-blog something other than DailyDoseofDylan.

Anyways. I have the “unadulterated” Star Wars set on DVD … which came out after I’d already dropped all that cash on the super-duper trilogy. I’ve spent more money on Star Wars than is probably healthy … when I finally get a real job and make some money … I’ll have to do it all again on Bluray anyway.

There have been some good albums so far in 2008. I’ve really enjoyed The Ruby Suns’ album Sea Lion. The album reminds me a lot of Panda Bear’s Person Pitch,but with a little more of a world sound. New albums by Mates of State and Beach House are definitely worth a listen.

I picked up Death Cab (somewhere, anyway) and I am eh about it. I was eh about Plans, too, so maybe I need to go back and take another listen. I recently put Bloc Party’s Weekend in the City in the car and enjoyed it a LOT more than when it first came out … so maybe it just takes a year of denial before things start to sound good? The new Coldplay is decent, though I think you may be morally opposed to them. I’m still listening to a lot of Ben Folds, actually, and breaking it up with random techno. I think I need to drink more.
