I spent a day trying to wrangle this site into the inimitably brilliant K2 theme for WordPress, but to no avail. While K2 is simple to install and brings a myriad of clever features to the user, I couldn’t get the look I wanted without digging into the theme’s innards. I find it much easier to build sites from scratch, so I left the place as-is (except now it runs on WP 2.3.1).

Aside from theatergoing and other trivialities, I’ll use today to write a brief end-o’-the-year entry.

Also, I have a new catchphrase.
