Top Ten Albums of 2007

While the covers of my favorite albums last year all featured faces (including that of a kitten), this year’s lot is more varied:

I really didn’t listen to enough Iron & Wine, New Pornographers, Of Montreal, Spoon or Stars to rank them informedly, despite their appearance on several year’s-end best-of lists. Also, no one’s allowed to release any good albums between now and New Year’s.
