Moby Quotient
The Moby Quotient attempts to quantitatively measure the degree to which an artist has sold out using subjective criteria. For example, using “London Calling” in a Jaguar commercial yields an MQ of 100, whereas “Takin’ Care of Business” for Office Depot earns an MQ of only 13.
