The Words We Use
Recent TV spots (sponsored by a conservative group whose name I didn’t catch) on CNN have rebuked the “radicals” at MoveOn.org for their criticism of Gen. Petraeus, due in part to his exaggeration of the progress provided by the continuing surge of troops in Iraq. But is MoveOn.org truly “radical” if 63% of Americans also feel that “things are going badly in Iraq?”
