Pop culture and dualism

One of my recent projects has been to catch up on Smallville, that teen soap opera with superheroes (and villains of course). They sure do get a lot of mileage out of someone’s soul inhabiting another’s body. And what’s the deal with those meteor rocks? It’s like they give everyone superpowers or something.

Clark also suffers from frequent bouts of amnesia, but it appears to be selective. If you lost all your memories, do you think you would still know what a barn was? Or to knock on a door before entering someone’s house?
