Meet Virginia
So what exciting choices do we have on the ballot this November? For the Senate: Mr Allen, who opposes stem-cell research, gay marriage and immigration, but supports the use of Tunisian ethnic slurs; Mr Webb, who pissed off women in the military and Nancy Reagan; and Ms Parker, who … no one even knew was running. In the House, however, we have Ms Drake, whose primary campaign message seems to be “I hate everyone,” and Mr Kellam, who appears to have been a successful mint proprietor before his stint as a politician. Even better are the ballot initiatives, which include the adding a prohibition against same-sex marriage to the state Bill of, in the loosest sense of the word, Rights.
